Since 1888 Roswell Lodge # 18 has been the home lodge for many prominent New Mexicans. Founded by John Poe, Frank Lea, William Fountain and William Prager, the membership is a history of the leaders of New Mexico’s past as a territory and rise of the city of Roswell and Chaves County.

Today, Roswell #18 continues to attract men of character from Chaves County. We continue to serve the community with various service projects and giving to those less fortunate. Our members can be found in their normal vocations in businesses across the area, you can find them in many area churches on Sunday, and it is likely that you already know at least one of our members personally. We pride ourselves on being an integral part of our community and while we do many things without the recognition that some would say is due, charity is a prime tenant of Freemasonry and one that we carry out in Roswell.
